COST

  • Returning Novices and Varsity: $1300 if registered by the registration deadline.  After that date there is a late fee of $300.
  • New Novices: $1300
  • These fees cover coach salaries, equipment purchases and asset maintenance, liability and property insurance, boathouse rental, equipment storage (trailers, boats, launches, oars, ergs, etc.), regular season regatta fees, team travel, administrative, accounting and audit fees and annual team events.
  • Please note, this registration fee does not cover costs associated with the Spring Break Trip to Tennessee or selected regattas such as the Head of the Charles or SRAA Nationals. Qualifying crews who attend those regattas will pay their own travel costs as well as a maximum of $750 fee to SICR to cover the cost of coach time and travel, regatta fees, team dinner and uniforms.
  • Novice uniform shirts are included in the season fees and Novices provide their own black compression shorts.  Varsity team members must purchase a uniform for an additional cost. Students can buy various crew related gear throughout the year at different times.

FINANCIAL AID & PAYMENT PLAN

The SICR Board of Directors have established a financial aid program to assist those students who wish to row but whose families lack the means to pay the full dues (financial aid information is kept confidential and Coaches are not informed of financial aid participants).  To qualify, families must complete the financial aid application and provide supporting documents. To submit a Financial Aid application, please download the document (see below) and submit it via email to the team Registrar (registrar@saintignatiuschicagorowing.org).

PAYMENT PLAN

All payments will be submitted via SportsEngine and will be charged to your credit card or pulled from your bank account, as you choose.  When completing your online registration, you will have the option to pay in full or in installments during the season.
