The Saint Ignatius Chicago Rowing Club has been fostering the growth of student-athletes for 25 years and receives no outside funding (so we could use your help).  Rowing, the oldest intercollegiate sport in America, is also one of the most expensive. Your donation is 100% tax deductible.  This year, we have some rather special awards for the Top Donors and Fundraisers. 

ROWATHON:

Please help support Saint Ignatius Chicago Rowing in our largest fundraiser of the year.   On February 23, 2023, teams of Ignatius rowers will compete against each other on rowing machines (known as "Ergs") to raise money for the club.  Your donation will be used to maintain and purchase racing boats, oars, boat trailers, and, of course, more Ergs.  Donations will also be used to award scholarships so that every Saint Ignatius student has the opportunity to row.  

DONATIONS: 

SICR is a 501(c)(3) organization and, therefore, cash donations are tax deductible. In-kind donations also may be made. Consult with the SICR Board President prior to making any significant in-kind donation. If requested, SICR will provide donors with a receipt letter for their records.  

PARENT VOLUNTEERS:

As a parent run organization, we rely on ALL parents to volunteer during the rowing season.  You will have the opportunity to volunteer during the registration process or at any time during the season.  No specials skills are needed!
